Today, Daniel, Brian, Lionel, Lik Zhing and I went to Xavier's house AGAIN to play his Street Fighter Ex 2 Plus. We just simply had to beat Sagat, which was after Garuda.
On the bus to Xavier's house, something crappy happened. I couldn't find my spare change and had to stay at the front of the bus while the bus was moving while I was finding the change. Lucky it was a double decker bus and every1 at the bottom deck was diao-ing at me. Then at around the fifth stop, this old man suddenly ask me if I needed change. Luckily Xavier came to my rescue and spared me 20 cents.
LOL! Or I would really have to get money from that old man.
Anyway, we took turns to own the previous opponents. Then I tried this guy called Rosso and everyone thought it really owned so they ask me to use it to fight Garuda. The methods I were using to fight Garuda were really cheap and low grade, just continuous slam and grips and uppercuts. It was the same move I used the entire game against Garuda and it was coined as the "A-Hu Move" cause the character would say ah hu when he did the move.
And so I defeated Garuda. Everyone was like what the fck, cheap skate victory. But it was extremely effective, so they asked me to fight Sagat. Somehow, I won him with just one cheap move being used over and over again.
So, it was on to the final opponent. It was M.Bison(a.k.a Vega). I fought him and he was really tough cause he had this charge move like Wolverine's Berserker Barrage and he could teleport so it was hard for me to move near him to land a slam on him. I DID ABSOLUTELY NO COMBOS ON HIM, just slams being done over and over again. And a lot of dodging and blocking. Then I won M.Bison LOL!!! In one shot, it was really great but...I did it a very cheap way.
So pretty soon, we decided to try some other games. Most of them were lame or boring, then we found a really nice game, which was X-Men VS Street Fighter. It TOTALLY owned!!
Although I have the game on my emulator, playing it with a game controller was like 10x, or maybe 11x more easier. Cause of the semicircles u had to do to make good combos. So we gamed on for around 2 hours, then there was this big king we had to beat called Apocalypse. He was extremely imbalanced because he could deal extremely good damage and he could regenerate. He was even tougher to beat than Garuda or Sagat or anything. We then realised that there were checkpoints in his life and when u reached that quoto, his[Apocalypse] maximum life would decrease, but he would regenerate just as fast. So the only way to really beat him was to do LOADS of huge damage in a short time. Which was dam hard so eventually we gave up as we got tired.
We had been playing from around 1.50pm to 5.20pm. Then all this while Lionel was not playing so we let him play 1 wrestling game. One moment his face was all gloomy, next moment his face lit up and he was extremely enthusiastic. Everytime we asked him a move's name, he would know it. It's like he was some wrestling guru.
So eventually he won. Then we decided to let him play a second game, seeing how hyped up he was. He fought this guy who liked taunting and dancing around and we were planning to go home after Lionel won the game. But Lionel kept dragging the game for 15minutes. Sicko. Then we realised he did not know how to pin- and to win a game u must pin an opponent for three counts. When he finally knew how to pin, we screamed like HELL again cause we were so happy we could finally go home.
The story doesn't end there lol. On the bus home, Daniel and I saw Lionel walking ahead of us(as he was not taking bus), so we were kinda shocked. He was actually walking faster than the bus. Also, if u take the 119 route home, u would see that at Central Upper Serangoon Road, there is a sign that says St Xavier Road. SERIOUS.
Thought of the Day: Something crappy happened too. We found this bus ticket, which only had a 1cent value. We were amused/amazed/stunned/puzzled! I should scan it soon for everyone to see.
