Ohayo all! Just came back from japan an hour ago and now I shall tag about my escapade to Osaka which was from 5th-12th June. Photos shall be uploaded at a later time. Warning: This will be an extremely wordy post.

Before the trip - 6th June

Went to airport and reached at around 10pm. Can't really remember what happened. Killed a lot of time by messaging people. Kenny's messages were the funniest. Then I found this corner which had free internet access that was extremely laggy - to the point that I could not even use web messenger. So Brian and I had a short chat at near midnight on my tagboard. Then the plane took off at 1pm. Japan time is 1 hour ahead of our time which means when I am blogging at 6:19pm, it is 7:19pm in Japan. I estimated that the trip took approximately 5-6 hours.

Day 1 - 7th June

The morning was spent trying to enter the booked hotel rooms but the hotel staff only allowed my family and I to check in at 2pm japan time. So we spent time exploring the neighborhood around the hotel. The local people mostly couldn't speak much English, even if they could it was only mediocre English. There were many people who had those outrageous hairstyles like those you see in anime shows. And the fashion there is very different too with very large variety and it seems that many people there like wearing torn jeans. My mum kept honing on about how the schoolgirls in Japan wore their socks very high and how the uniforms were very nice. My opinion is that there were many pretty girls there. Too bad that there was a language barrier rofl. Ate lunch at KFC and the food was extremely expensive and checked in to the hotel at 2pm. Was very sleepy so I slept until 7pm before waking up to eat dinner, then explore more of the neighborhood and going back to hotel to sleep again.

Day 2 - 8th June

Breakfast-ed with instant noodles. Went to explore a park that I forgot its name. To get to the park we needed to take the train and wasted a lot of time asking for directions cause we were not familiar with the railway routes and the maps were not helpful. Anyways, there were many deers at the park and you could buy deer food at a vendor close to the park to feed to the deers and get them closer to get a photo. Took some photos with the deers which will also be uploaded at a later time. Lunched at McDonald and once again the food was extremely expensive. After that, we took a long hike up a mountain to go to a temple and take even more photos. I also forgot the temple's name but it was supposed to be a must-visit place because it was named as one of the International Heritage landmarks and there are only 4 such landmarks. Dinner-ed with instant noodles again rofl. But this time round we ordered some sushis and other jap stuff to go along with it like crab meat chicken fish tempura prawn blabla. But there is something cool in the McDonald which is a burger called McPork which we will never see in Singapore because Singapore's Mcdonald is Halal. But the McPork was quite nice and cheap.(but the food there is still ex)

Day 3 - 9th June

Breakfast-ed with instant noodles again. Went to an aquarium by train in Japan and spent quite some time there. We were extremely lucky because there were some baby clawed otters going on a countrywide tour and they happened to stop by at that Osaka aquarium at that point of time so we got to see them. Very cute. Other impressive animals were the Whale Shark which is gigantic, the octopus which barely-moved, the white octopus which also barely moved and a lot more that I cant remember at this moment. Will upload pics soon. Oh yes and dolphins too! Spent A LOT of time looking at seals because nobody likes looking at small animals like schools of fish and everyone would rather see large animals. Lunched with bread + pringles rofl. After that took another train to see Osaka Castle, which is extremely boring in my opinion. Took some photos there too and during a family photo, we got another pretty girl to help us take photo. Then my brother was cracking jokes about calling the girl's mother mother-in-law. =_= Anyways, went to a temple after that and dinner-ed at the local Yoshinoya which sells little variety of food and I ate some pork noodles.

Day 4 - 10th June

Breakfast-ed with bread if I recall correctly. Took some long train rides because we were traveling out of town to Kyoto which is another city in Japan to go to a Kyoto Imperial Palace where the King of Japan previously lived. Took photos there too. The rest of the day was spent exploring the streets of Kyoto and buying food from many vendors along the way and eating the local food like Takoyaki and umm..cant remember. But basically that was lunch. Then we went to another temple but it was different from the rest (but anyway it was also super boring because it seems like temples are the only places of attraction). For dinner, we went back to Osaka and went to some restaurant and I ate fried rice while everyone else ate noodles.

Day 5 - 11th June

Breakfast-ed with instant noodles(last packets). Went to a place in Osaka called Shinseibashi which is a shopping palace. I bought the least stuff there. And I helped my dad find 100 yen in arcade machines rofl. Whole day was spent there buying stuff. Lunch-ed at Macdonalds again. Dinner-ed with some japanese cuisine rice and dishes.

Day 6 - 12th June

Woke up at 5am today because we needed to catch a bus to the airport at 6.50am and we had to check out before that. Breakfast-ed with bread Reached the airport at 7+ and waited until 11am for the plane flight. Reached Singapore at near evening. Home sweet home =)

There have probably been MANY MANY relevant points I have missed out but I am too tired to think properly now. Oh yes there was also a severe water shortage on the trip so we had to buy drinks from the supermarket. I recommend an isotonic drink called Pocari Sweat. The 1.5 litre bottle is quite cheap compared to the other 1.5litre bottle drinks(even though still expensive) but it is relatively good to drink and quenches thirst. Shall stop here for now because my bros need to use and get in touch with the network again. Bye for now. Pics to be uploaded at a later date.

Changed the blog music to Always Be My Baby by David Cook. Wow the song is so awesome and beautiful. I really love this song. Lyrics We were as one babe For a moment in time And it seemed everlasting That you would always be mine Now you want to be free So I'm letting you fly Cause I know in my heart babe Our love will never die No! You'll always be a part of me I'm a part of you indefinitely Girl don't you know you can't escape me Ooh darling cause you'll always be my baby And we'll linger on Time can't erase a feeling this strong No way you're never gonna shake me Ooh darling cause you'll always be my baby I ain't gonna cry no And I won't beg you to stay If you're determined to leave girl I will not stand in your way But inevitably you'll be back again Cause ya know in your heart babe Our love will never end no You'll always be a part of me I'm part of you indefinitely Girl don't you know you can't escape me Ooh ...
Yo guys by popular demand I'm here to blog YARRH !!! Recently, I heard a ghost sotry from my brother when he came back this weekend from his BMTC(Basic Military Training Camp) at pulau tekong. WARNING IF U R TOO SCARED DUN READ THIS U WILL BE FREAKED OUT Okays...maybe u wont be freaked...anyways As BMTC started, many of the new enlistees did not know much about the BMTC. As he stated, in his platoon bunk there was a bed with the bedsheet stained in blood. BY right, no one was supposed to sleep in that bed as it was believed to be haunted. However, one of the enlistees was assigned to sleep there(luckily it wasn't my bro). Being new there, he did not know that he could ask to change bedsheets so he just slept as usual. A few days later, he got sick and had fever and started coughing. At first, they thought it was just normal sickness because many of the new recruits could not adapt to the new army lifestyle. However, things started getting worse when he started coughing blood......
Removed the previous post. Too depressing, even for me. It was probably posted on impulse. Now that I've straightened my thinking, I've decided to remove it. Work has been rather busy lately. I get to be a cashier finally..next Tuesday because Xavier took off. Thanks to all who have tried to console me, really really appreciate it. I just hate staying at home. Haiz.
