4 days ago, something astonishing was revealed on Asiasoft Playpark forums. Asiasoft Online(best known for creating games like MapleSea, AuditionSea, Cabalsea etc.) has revealed a shocking message today. This is the message as it is:

Dear Heroes,

We would like to sincerely apologise for having kept you in the Dark for so long, and now it is time for us to shed some Light. After careful consideration and in-depth discussion with the developers of Darkness And Light, both parties have come to a shared understanding that the current stage of game development has yet to reach its maximum potential of full player enjoyment, and will hence be withdrawing the title.

We regret to inform you that Darkness and Light will cease all web, customer support (Q-Box) and forum services with effect from 30th April 2008.

We continue to work towards providing the best online gaming experience for all our players and we thank you for your continuous support and understanding.

Yours sincerely,
AsiaSoft Online

When I first read this message, I was like rofl wth? Asiasoft is gonna close Darkness and Light sea just because the game development has yet to reach its
full potential. Right....like what the hell is the full potential anyway? Full potential to make profits? Should've guessed so.

This free-to-play games are equally as money-consuming as pay-to-play games since cash items give enhancements or benefits to these free-to-play games. So anyways back to the message...let's not even talk about the lame pun about the dark and light blablabla. Anyways for those not in the know, darkness and light is a game that closely resembles the format of dota, although many would claim dota owns DAL hands down. I haven't tried the game yet..and probably never will..but asiasoft's stunning decision to close DAL may not be such a good move. For one thing they have been blacklisted by many DAL addicts as u can check the threads in the DALSEA forum. For the main thread visit this link here.So disappointing lol...not that I actually mind. But seriously, I think that the reason DALSEA is being shut down is because its not profitable enough. To heck with full potential...so what man? There are people who love the game for what it is...and not what it may become in the future so even if
the game has not developed to its full potential =_=, there are many people who will still continue supporting the game. Shame on you asiasoft.

Everyone now knows asiasoft is a greedy pig that only likes to eat money. Why else would they close down the game? Their explanation is super lousy. Asiasoft should learn when to stop producing games. Their greed for wealth is blinding their vision of justice. No point creating so many games and then realise they are not profitable and closing them down. It only makes more people unhappy with the company.

Asiasoft's history

MapleStory was the first game released by Asiasoft. MapleSEA was a popular game for many people all over Singapore, with players ranging from 6-60 years old. Then PangyaSEA was next. Surprisingly, PangyaSEA has not fallen
yet, maybe because it is a one-of-a-kind golf game. Then there was AuditionSea. I can seriously see this game crumbling soon if they dun bring back the damned songs. Following audition was DALSEA which has already met its doom. Next up was GrandChaseSEA, I've never played this game before...so no comment. Then there is GetAmpedSEA..I think this is gonna be the second DALSEA. Then now there is RichmanSEA...probably going to be another retarded game.

Conclusion

What more is there to say? Asiasoft doesn't know when to stop coming up with new games. Whatever happened to games being created for the pure sake of enjoyment? Why must the company be so corrupted by money?? Regarding to the DALSEA closure thread, I would like to quote the comment of one of the forumers or forumites or whatever.

So you people think that hating Asiasoft will make any difference.

And spamming the forums won't do much, they'll just delete everything.

Yes, DAL is a great game. And I know that Asiasoft has really disappointed you guys by closing it.

But what good is it to hate them? You think that they'll bring it back in fear of losing players for other games? And spamming the forums - nothing really comes out of it. They won't bring DAL back. If you take spamming as revenge, I must say that that is kinda stupid.

Other games? That's a different case. Don't compare DAL to them.

And I'm not saying it was good of Asiasoft to close down DAL. In fact, even I find it disappointing. Live with it.

I agree to a large extent. 'Nuff said.

Changed the blog music to Always Be My Baby by David Cook. Wow the song is so awesome and beautiful. I really love this song. Lyrics We were as one babe For a moment in time And it seemed everlasting That you would always be mine Now you want to be free So I'm letting you fly Cause I know in my heart babe Our love will never die No! You'll always be a part of me I'm a part of you indefinitely Girl don't you know you can't escape me Ooh darling cause you'll always be my baby And we'll linger on Time can't erase a feeling this strong No way you're never gonna shake me Ooh darling cause you'll always be my baby I ain't gonna cry no And I won't beg you to stay If you're determined to leave girl I will not stand in your way But inevitably you'll be back again Cause ya know in your heart babe Our love will never end no You'll always be a part of me I'm part of you indefinitely Girl don't you know you can't escape me Ooh ...
Yo guys by popular demand I'm here to blog YARRH !!! Recently, I heard a ghost sotry from my brother when he came back this weekend from his BMTC(Basic Military Training Camp) at pulau tekong. WARNING IF U R TOO SCARED DUN READ THIS U WILL BE FREAKED OUT Okays...maybe u wont be freaked...anyways As BMTC started, many of the new enlistees did not know much about the BMTC. As he stated, in his platoon bunk there was a bed with the bedsheet stained in blood. BY right, no one was supposed to sleep in that bed as it was believed to be haunted. However, one of the enlistees was assigned to sleep there(luckily it wasn't my bro). Being new there, he did not know that he could ask to change bedsheets so he just slept as usual. A few days later, he got sick and had fever and started coughing. At first, they thought it was just normal sickness because many of the new recruits could not adapt to the new army lifestyle. However, things started getting worse when he started coughing blood......
Removed the previous post. Too depressing, even for me. It was probably posted on impulse. Now that I've straightened my thinking, I've decided to remove it. Work has been rather busy lately. I get to be a cashier finally..next Tuesday because Xavier took off. Thanks to all who have tried to console me, really really appreciate it. I just hate staying at home. Haiz.
