Hi everyone today I'm going to talk about a very new issue I have never discussed recently. I watched this Planet Earth commercial on TV(its a documentary on arts central about animals), then they were saying about a critically endangered species of animal, the Amur Leopard.

The reason why I'm posting this is because I was extremely shocked at the numbers left. Forty. Only forty left and the numbers are still dropping. I went to Wikipedia to do a little research and here's a little of what I've found.

The Amur Leopard (Panthera pardus orientalis or Panthera pardus amurensis) is the rarest and northernmost subspecies of leopard. Here's a picture

It is extremely close to extinction with only 25 to 34 individuals remaining in the wild (only 6 of these are female), while it is estimated that at least 100 are needed if the species is to avoid extinction. Habitat destruction and the fur trade have diminished its numbers dramatically, and has resulted in the animal becoming the rarest extant member of the feline family on the planet.

Omygawd sad hor...I wish the damn hunters will get their retribution. Anyway, enough of this environmental crap, big thanks to everyone who has made my first week of holiday not as boring as it could have been! And Lik Zhing, you rock too lol.

Took my chinese orals last week. Finally it's over alright! I must've screwed up, although not as badly as during the O' Levels. I almost misinterpreted the conversation question. There were a couple of words I didn't recognise on the reading passage, but thankfully I guessed some correctly. So, the weekend has been rolling by lazily with not much activities happening. So I've actually been mugging at home and on schedule for work(I think) since a very long time ago. Other than friday's usual outing, I must say the week has been pretty dry. And tomorrow will be a normal school day again. Gah I hate the beginning of the week. The only things I look forward to are the weekends and holidays. I hate waking up early in the morning. As opposed to many people I believe, I actually do not mind having E-learning. Yea everyone knows that E-learning sucks for learning but I feel that if you can replay it over and over again, you should be able to get the points into your h...
This week has been a really exciting week. On Monday, the whole college went down to support MJC as they went up against VJC for the soccer boys final. They took the lead but we equalised quickly. Then we got a nice freekick and the score was 2-1. MJC seemed to be cruising towards victory but they scored another one as the game approached half-time. The scorer of the second goal, No.5 of VJC, proceeded to taunt the MJC crowd, which invoked some angry reactions. Then me and Hudson went for a walk around the Jalan Besar area during the half-time break and discovered many secret areas. There was this Horneh Road and Holy Trinity Church and Lavender Food Square, and even Hotel 81 and Cheers and 7-11 and some dilapidated temple. So we walked and walked and by the time we reached back to the stadium, we already missed like 10 minutes of the game. Thankfully we didn't miss any exciting scenes. Towards the end, a VJC player scored a late goal. Shortly after that, the VJC No.5 player procee...
